Project 3580 firmly believes that access to education is one of the key foundations to improving the level of development of the children of Kissitown Camp. This is borne out by the attainment of Desmond Sannoh - a student who has benefitted from the work that we have done in rebuilding the school. Desmond lost both of his parents - one during the civil war, the other due to malaria. He lives with his uncle and is expected to earn his keep by working in the market. At just 14 years old, Desmond achieved a truly remarkable feat. He was the fourth highest achiever in the country in his age group for his exams. Project 3580 is now funding his education through his high school years and bringing his dream of being a doctor one-step closer to reality.
